Campus Awareness

Campus Awareness on EVM and VVPAT was held at Govt Aizawl West College, Aizawl on September 14. The campus awareness was held in preparation of the upcoming General Election to Mizoram Legislative Assembly, Campus Awareness amongst the youth. Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) District Nodal Officer Angela Zothanpuii chaired the function and delivered a speech on the importance of Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) as the third component of the voting machine.  She demonstrated the functions of Electronic Voting Machine and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) to college students. This was followed by Mock Poll.
