ZPM CONDEMNS BRUTAL KILLING OF THREE CHURCH LEADERS IN MANIPUR

Dated Aizawl, the 14th May, 2027: ZPM General Headquarters, Aizawl is deeply saddened by the killing of three leaders of the Thado Baptist Association—Rev. Vumsong Sitlhou, Rev. Kaigoulin Lhouvum, and Rev. Paugoulen Sitlhou—who were attacked on 13th May, 2026 while traveling from Lamka, Manipur to Khangpokpi.

ZPM expresses profound grief over this tragic incident. The killing of religious leaders in such a brutal manner is taken very seriously, and the party strongly condemns the perpetrators.

Whether they are Kuki, Thadou, or of any other community, those responsible should understand that any act of violence against the Chin-Kuki-Mizo people is also a matter of deep concern for the Mizo community. ZPM strongly desires that such incidents never happen again.

As a party that represents all Mizo and Zo-ethnic groups, ZPM will continue to stand firm in safeguarding the security and peace of Zo people wherever they may be.
