One-Day AI Workshop Held in Aizawl

Aizawl | July 10, 2025: The State Institute for Transformation, Mizoram under Planning & Programme Implementation Department, in collaboration with LushAI Tech Pvt. Ltd., organized a one-day workshop on “Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Government: Fundamentals, Tools and Responsible Implementation” at the P&PID Conference Hall.

Officials from P&PID, Mizoram Science Technology & Innovation Council (MISTIC), Mizoram Startup Mission (MSUM), Department of Economics & Statistics, and Urban Development and Poverty Alleviation (UD&PA) participated in the training, which covered key AI topics including fundamentals, generative AI, hands-on tools, and responsible use.

In his inaugural address, the P&PID Secretary Lalmalsawma Pachuau stated, “AI can be a force multiplier that helps us perform our duties more efficiently, but it must be used responsibly to ensure ethical and effective governance.”
