Aizawl | August 25, 2020: Mizoram's State Election Commission in order to prevent and contain the spread of the pandemic COVID-19 has decided to defer the General Election to Village Councils & Local Councils, 2020 today.
The election for local council and village council scheduled to be held on August 27 is defer by the SEC today untill further notice, in respect of the following Village Councils & Local Councils:
- Sawleng Village Council
- Darlawn Village Council
- Melriat Village Council
- Hualngohmun Village Council
- Kelsih Village Council
- Chaltlang Lily Veng Local Council
- Ramhlun South Local Council
