Govt. Aizawl North College-a admission norms & Condition:-
1. Intake Capacity:
50 core students in each department for First Semester through direct admission and selection based on merit. Students passing Class XII from any stream may be admitted to the BA Course.
2. Direct Admission :
Candidate who secured First Division in Cl-XII (or equivalent) are eligible for direct admission provided they secure the required cut off marks for their chosen core subject.
However, direct admission will be done on first come first serve basis and will be closed when 50 % of the intake capacity of each core (i.e. 25 seats) subject is reached.
3. Application for admission
Candidates not eligible for direct admission may submit their application forms duly filled and supported by all necessary documents to the office. Selection will be done on the basis of merit.
4. Schedule for Admission to 1st Semester:
a) Direct admission & filling up of admission forms:
21st - 31st July, 2020
b) Publication of 1st Selected List: 5th August, 2020
c) Admission for 1st Selected List: 6th & 7th August, 2020
d) Publication of 2nd (Final) Selected List: 11th August, 2020
e) Admission for 2nd (Final) Selected List: 12th & 13th August, 2020
f) Admission will be closed from 14th August, 2020
g) Commencement of 1st Semester classes: 10th September, 2020 (Thursday)
