About the Fundraiser
Hi,
My name is BC Lalmuankimi, and I am a finalist for the 61st edition of Femina Miss India. Beyond the stage, this journey is about purpose, and I have chosen to stand for a cause that needs urgent attention, emergency medical care for children across India.
Childhood cancer and other life threatening conditions such as thalassemia major and liver failure continue to impact thousands of young lives every year. The reality is simple, a child’s chance of survival improves significantly with timely diagnosis and early treatment. Yet, many underprivileged families struggle to access the right information and medical care when it matters most, leading to delays that can cost lives.
With greater awareness, timely support, and collective action, countless children can be given a real chance to fight back. What this really means is, we have the power to change outcomes simply by coming together with compassion, prayers, and crowdfunding.
In support of this mission, I am raising funds for Child Help Foundation, a non profit working across India to provide critical medical assistance, education, and overall development support to underprivileged children. Over the years, their efforts have helped save and transform countless young lives.
As part of this year’s initiative, finalists of 61st Femina Miss India have pledged to support 30 to 35 children, covering treatments worth ₹30 to 35 lakh. I have personally committed to supporting 2 children while also spreading awareness about this urgent need.
