Aizawl | Septeber 28, 2018: Three days SWAR SUDHA - Festival of Choral Music & Instrumental Ensemble was inauguurated by Art & Culture minister R Romawia at Vanapa Hall, Aizawl on September 26. The festival was organised by Mizorfam  Art & Culture Department and Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi. 

Nine choir and two Instrumental Ensemble with 165 members from Delhi, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura,  Assam and Mizoram participated in this festival. 

Choral Music ; KC Lights Choir from Meghalaya, Swar Trishna from Delhi, Sachin Debbarman Memorial Govenrment Music College from Tripura, Hallel Singers from Nagaland, Luit Konwar Rudra Barijah State College of Music from Assam, Eerik Choir, Shri Shri Balmukund Dev Music College from Manipur,  Central YMA Choir,  The Leprosy Mission Choir and  Bel Canto Choir from Mizoram and  Instrumental Ensemble;  Karpung Karduk Centre for Folk Performing Arts from Arunachal Pradesh and Songs & Drama Unit of Cultural Affairs & Heritage Department (Govt. Of Sikkim) Gangtok. 
The grand closing of the festival was held on September 28.
