NATIONAL PEOPLE’S PARTY LAUNCHED IN MIZORAM


Aizawl |September 29, 2018: Mizoram chapter of National People’s Party was officially launched by its National president and Meghalaya Chief minister Conrad Sangma  in Aizawl at Aijal Club on September 29.

Speaking on the occasion, Conrad Sangma said, “PA Sangma founded the NPP and has set an agenda for the people of Northeast Christians”.
“National People’s Party will stand for the people of Schedule tribe” said NPP president and “We schedule tribe must realise that we must come up above the ‘reservation’.” he added.

Speaking about delayed launching of the party in Mizoram, “main objective of the party is not only to fight for election, they are for a purposes, a purpose to work for the people and work with Mizoram people, and to be hand in hand.”

“BJP and NPP are different in principle and ideology. We are just partners to bring development for the people. But, any agenda that against our people,  will not be supported by NPP.” He added.

During the launching function, he appointed Lianzuala was appointed as president of National People’s Party in Mizoram.

The Launching programme was presided by NPP national secretary (i/c Mizoram) Dr Lalrintluanga Jahau and delivered a speech.
NNP leaders like, National vice president and Manipur ex minister Phunzathang Tonsing, National general secretary and Manipur sports minister Letpao Haokip, National spokesperson and Meghalaya home minister James Sangma and Nagaland legislature Imnatiba Jamir also delivered speech on the occasion.


NPP has 20 MLA’s in Meghalaya, Seven in Arunachal Pradesh, four in manipur and tow MLA in Nagaland.
