MIZORAM CHIEF ELECTORAL OFFICER PUBLISHED FINAL ELECTORAL ROLL AS OF 27TH SEPTEMBER 2018

Aizawl | September 27, 2018: The Mizoram Chief Electoral Officer published Final electoral roll as of 27th september 2018 in the presence of representatives from different political parties of the state today at his office.

CEO Mr SB Shashank said the process of roll revision is being implemented vigorously in all the 8 districts of Mizoram and as per the norms of Election Commission of India, publication has to be made on the number of voters enrolled as of 27th September 2018. Mr SB Sashank, on publishing the list of voters in different districts of the state, mentioned that there are 768181 voters being enrolled and this figure will differ as the roll revision process will  continue till the last day of filing nomination and the figures will be updated everyday.

The meeting was attended by Mrs Lalzarmawii, Addl CEO,Mr Krishna Mohan Uppu, Addl CEO, Mr Malsawmzuala, Asst CEO and representatives from PRISM, MPC, ZNP and MNF.
