ALZHEIMER’S DAY OBSERVED IN AIZAWL

Aizawl | Sept 24, 2018: World Alzheimer’s Day 2018 was observed in Aizawl at Millennium Centre, Aizawl on September 21 morning.  Alzheimer’s and Related Disorders Society of India (ARDSI) Mizoram Chapter staged a ‘memory walk’ from Chanmari junction to Millennium Centre, with many supporters and volunteers taking part.
Health minister Lal Thanzara graced the programme as chief guest at Millennium Centre.

Alzheimer’s and Related Disorders Society of India (ARDSI) Mizoram Chapter president Vanneihtluanga, member Malsawmthangi, Alzheimer’s and Related Disorders Society of India (ARDSI) Mizoram Chapter Jt Secy Lalremruati Zote and many supporters present in the morning programme. 

Speaking in the occasion, Lal Thanzara said, “ It is a good to hear that there is an association like Alzheimer’s and Related Disorders Society of India (ARDSI) Mizoram Chapter who take care of persons who suffer from Alzheimer.” Health minister requested all to take much care of Alzheimer patient, need to keep in mind the year theme ‘Remember Me’ in mind.
Alzheimer’s and Related Disorders Society of India (ARDSI) Mizoram Chapter organised a Seminar on Alzheimer in Chanmari YMA Hall, Aizawl on September 21, 11:00 am. NHM Mission Director Dr Lalrozama, IAS graced the seminar as chief guest. The seminar was organised by Alzheimer’s and Related Disorders Society of India (ARDSI) Mizoram Chapter in association with National Mental Health Programme.
