Aizawl is the capital of the state of Mizoram and the
largest city within the boundaries of this state. The beautiful city has a
number of interesting places to visit. Some of the main Aizawl attractions
which grab the attention of large numbers of visitors are Mizoram State Museum,
Durtlang Hills, Solomon Temple, Khuangchera Puk and Hmuifang. These places
experience the largest numbers of visitors and are seen as the major
attractions of the city. Bara Bazar is the main shopping spot of Aizawl.
Tourists are often seen seen shopping from here. One more interesting place
worth visiting in Aizawl is the Baktawng village.

For a group of 4 or more persons, Restricted Area Permit (PAP) can be obtained from the Government of Mizoram through the Liaison Officers at New Delhi, Kolkata and Guwahati. For less than 4 persons, RAP has to be obtained from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
