Central Young Mizo Association) try to ogranised a rally and portest against Chakma Autonomous District Council at Aizawl, all its sub-headquarters and group headquarters on october 10. The protest against CADC is in demand of immediate dissolve of CADC.
Guv visits
Governor Kummanam Rajasekharan pay a visit to Brahma Kumaris Rajyoga Education Centre, Thuampui on October 6 and graced celebration of the 87th birth anniversary of Rajyogini Brahma Kumari Satyawati Didiji. Rajyogini Brahma Kumari Satyawati Didiji is director of Brahma Kumaris in Mizoram, Upper Assam, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh.
MJA visits Biate
Mizo Journalists’ Association leaders visited Mizoram cleanest town 2017 & 2018 Biate town on October 4. The MJA team is led by its president Zonunsanga Khiangte. Biate Villlage Council president (VCP) RV Hluna received the team and have a discussion during the visits.
Reptile Enclosure
Inauguration of Reptile enclosure and closng ceremony of the 64th Wildlife Week 2018 was held at Aizawl Zoological Park, Sakawrtuichhun, Aizawl on October 6. Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (Wildlife) & Chief Wildlife Warden Dr CHM Rao, IFS graced the programme as chief guest. Dr K Kire, IFS, APCCF (P&B), Liandawla APCCF, H Lianmawi DCF (WL), Ritu Raj Singh, IFS, CCF (Planning), Lalthlamuana IFS, CF (WL) , ASEP, Mizoram Photographers’ Association, Students of Forest Training School and all NGO from Sakawrtuichhun were present on the occasion. In the Reptile Enclosure there are five cells. It cost 32.59 lakhs.
Project Himna MADAT Rally
Lunglei district Deputy Commissioner Dr Ankita Chakravarty IAS flag off a 'Project Himna MADAT'(Mizoram Against Drugs, Alcohol and Tobacco) rally by Royal Knights Bullet Club, Lunglei at Lunglei DC complex on october 6. 'Project Himna MADAT'(Mizoram Against Drugs, Alcohol and Tobacco) is a project under New Economic Development Policy (NEDP) to prevent youth from against Drugs, Alcohol and Tobacco.
Blood Donation
Chhinga veng branch KTP (Presbyterian youth fellowship) donated 58 units of blood in Aizawl civil hospital on October 6. Baptist Youth Felloship (Evangelical baptist Convention Church) also donatecd donated 44 units of blood on the same day.
EVM Checking
The first level checking of 40 units of VVPAT, 20 units of Ballot unit and 55 units of control unit take place at Champhai with Adll DC Champhai and FLC Co-ordinator K Vanlalthiana on October 6. Engineers from ECIL Company, Election Office staffs, Journalists, Security Personels and representatives from different Political parties were present in the First Level Checking (FLC).
